    Loretta was easy to talk to and had familiarity with all my health questions. She never seemed rushed and I felt that she gave me her full attention during our consultation. This was the first time I had seen her, as she is fairly new to the office.
    Very nice lady!
    Loretta is great. She discussed options of dealing with the medical issue I saw her for, she explained clearly and sent me home with a detailed printout for me to read. Loretta is overall a delightful person, and very thorough and patient. I feel so lucky that I was able to get into her practice!!!

    Biography
    Loretta Alimam is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner studies at Sonoma State University. Over the past seven years, Loretta worked at Novato Community Hospital as a Registered Nurse and Nursing Supervisor. She enjoyed the variety of patients and health conditions she encountered, and the opportunity to coordinate care throughout the hospital. Prior to hospital nursing, Loretta was a private duty nurse, working with adolescents with diabetes in the school setting. She has a special interest in diabetes, bioethics and wound care. Nursing is a second career for Loretta. Previously, she worked in banking and finance and took time away to be a full-time mom to her four sons, during their early years. Loretta has a passion for nursing and enjoys the collaborative relationships she has with her patients. She places a great deal of importance on open communication, and is committed to helping her patients stay well, manage their health issues, and enjoy an excellent quality of life.
