    I have been a patient of Dr. Chen's for 24 years. I love her. She is kind, intelligent, thoughtful and caring. She sees me holistically and treats me as a whole person not just within her specialty. She always listens carefully and provides insight and direction in any way possible. She is the best doctor, Providence is so lucky to have such a wonderful person and physician as Dr. Chen, she is a gem.
    Reaching someone by telephone to schedule new patient visit was a bit challenging. I had to contact the office three times before I could schedule. Once in the office, the staff was courteous. Doctor was respectful but could provide no insight into pain I have been experiencing. She was pleasant and offered some options. I did not leave with a feeling that my concerns were answered.
    I liked Dr Chen very much. She was personable, efficient, totally understood my situation. She made an appt. For a call back to discuss my blood test results!
    My doctor is excellent. She has a wonderful personality and is proficient in her job
    My experience related to the care provider was very informative and helpful. I'm able to get all my concerns answered.

    Biography
    Dr. May S. Chen is a nephrologist practicing in Mission Viejo, California for Mission Heritage Medical Group. She completed medical school at the University of Chicago before finishing her internship and residency at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She then completed her fellowship at the University of Chicago Hospital in 1998.
