Steve Costales, DC, is a certified athletic trainer (ATC) and has a master's degree in Kinesiology. He is certified in Active Release Technique for the full body, including upper and lower extremeties, spine and long nerve root entrapment. He believes preventive care is the best measure for helping keep one's health in the best shape possible. He believes in conservative care being the best care for most immediate and acute injuries and that he can help people unlock their physical potential, now and in the future.
He has clinical interest in sports medicine and sports injuries, as it relates to chiropractice and kinesiology. This is accomplished using the latest in evidence-based active release techniques and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).
His favorite aspect of the relationship with his patients is the one on one aspect - each individual patient has unique needs and deserves to be treated as such. He also enjoys educating and sharing knowledge with his patients, ensuring they will ultimately receive preventive and corrective spinal health care.
When he is not caring for patients, Costales enjoys going to the beach with his wife and two sons, hiking, camping and exploring nature.
