Dr. Kristopher Huston was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He studied philosophy at UC Berkeley and developed a passion for medicine while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana. He attended medical school at Albert Einstein College in the Bronx, where he conducted research on hospital acquired infections. In 2014 he (enthusiastically) returned to California to complete residency at UC Irvine Medical Center.
Dr. Huston is board certified in Internal Medicine. He has practiced as a Hospitalist in Orange County since 2017. He enjoys the collaborative team environment of working in the hospital setting and the special bond that forms between patient and doctor when dealing with acute care medical problems. Dr. Huston believes excellent communication with patients, their families, and the medical team is the key to a successful recovery and sustaining a healthy lifestyle.
