Dr. Lawrence Kim is a board-certified specialist in internal medicine, pulmonary diseases, and critical care medicine. He was born and raised in Los Angeles. He graduated from UCLA where he studied neuroscience and English. He earned his medical degree and MBA from UC Irvine. He then stayed to continue his post-graduate training in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine. Prior to joining St. Jude Heritage Medical Group, Dr. Kim worked at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, CA and as clinical assistant professor at Western University.
His expertise lies in the diagnosis and management of general pulmonary symptoms including shortness of breath and cough. His clinical areas of interest include lung cancer, respiratory physiology, mycotic lung diseases. He is trained in multiple procedures such as endobronchial ultrasound, electromagnetic navigational bronchoscopy.
