Dr. MacRae is a board qualified and fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon practicing in Southern California. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex conditions of the foot and ankle including sports injuries, tendon disorders, ankle joint arthritis, and more.
Following his undergraduate studies at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, Dr. MacRae completed his medical education at Western University of Health Sciences. He then went on to complete residency training at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, CA, a level one trauma facility. Dr. MacRae then completed fellowship training at Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute in Bethlehem, PA where he received comprehensive reconstructive surgical training, including primary and revision ankle joint replacement.
Dr. MacRae’s philosophy is to offer comprehensive, evidence-based, and compassionate care to those suffering from foot and ankle disorders by integrating conservative treatments, rehabilitation, and if needed- surgery. Outside of work Dr. MacRae enjoys surfing, watching sports, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
