Ashish Nanda, MD, is board certified in neurology and vascular neurology with fellowship training in Neurointerventional. He received his medical degree from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in India, where he also completed his internship. He completed his neurology residency program at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He then did his stroke and Neurointerventional fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Case Western Reserve University hospitals respectively in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Nanda has special medical interests in acute stroke and neuro-interventional therapies, including clot retrieval, aneurysm coiling, intracranial and carotid stenting, AVM embolization, intra and extracranial tumor embolization, spinal angiograms etc. He also has extensive experience with inpatient stroke management and stroke/TIA clinics.
"When it comes to stroke, every patient is different and every second impacts successful treatment of their condition," explains Dr. Nanda. "My goal is to provide timely care to all my patients, using the best available treatment, giving them the best chance to attain better quality of life."
