Dr. Zahra Shahim is a board certified internal medicine physician who has been practicing for over 30 years. She earned her medical degree at the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, and then completed her residency in internal medicine at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA. During her tenure, she actively contributed to the rheumatology department at Loma Linda University, where she conducted research.
Dr. Shahim greatly values continuity of care, and the opportunity to cultivate meaningful and impactful physician-patient relationships. She cares for a myriad of chronic illnesses, such as, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, and many related to Woman's health. She believes that effective communication and teamwork plays a pivotal role in patient care. Outside of practice, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, cooking Persian food, and gardening.
