At St. Jude and St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group, our nephrologists are experts in diagnosing and treating diseases affecting the kidney. This includes kidney stones, hypertension, kidney failure, kidney disease, renal failure, and polycystic kidney disease, and the care of those requiring renal replacement therapy, including dialysis and renal transplant patients. Many diseases affecting the kidney are often systemic and not limited to the organ itself, requiring special treatment. Our nephrologists are able to direct special care for acquired conditions such as systemic vasculitides (e.g. ANCA vasculitis) and autoimmune diseases (e.g., lupus), as well as congenital or genetic conditions such as polycystic kidney disease.
