Post Partum Care

Congratulations! We recommend a follow-up visit with your physician at 6 weeks post delivery. This visit may be sooner if you had a cesarean section or high-risk delivery.

At this time your physician will perform a physical exam to assure that your healing is complete. This is a good time to discuss birth control options, breastfeeding and emotional health.

We welcome your new baby at this visit and our staff enjoys seeing your pride and joy after all those months of prenatal visits.
