I had a total knee replacement scheduled and needed my Dr.'s clearance. Although the nurse who escorted me into the exam room said I was her first patient for the day and there should not be a wait, I waited 40 minutes. My blood pressure was mildly elevated and my EKG was reviewed, and although I some minor irregularities, the results suggested I would be ok for surgery. Dr. Latika had another EKG completed in her office, and the same results were noted. She sent me to a cardiologist for a stress test and ECG as she was uneasy with the findings and wanted to be on the safe side, which I appreciated. It was never explained to me what the results meant. But, I was pleased they could get me an appointment in 3 days, as did not want to cancel my surgery. All tests performed at the cardiologists office were well WNL and surgery proceeded without a hitch. I like my PCP, but I will be looking for another one who is easier to schedule with and may give me more medical information when needed.

Dr. Latika is extremely knowledgeable and spends the time explaining everything to me in a manner that is relatable.

Dr Latika is a great advocate for her patients.
