Dr. Ammar Dahodwala is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Originally from South Jersey right outside Philadelphia (go Phillies, Eagles, and Sixers!), Dr. Dahodwala completed his medical school training at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He then came out west to complete his Med+Peds training at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating in 2022, Dr. Dahodwala stayed an additional year at LAC+USC Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident for the Med+Peds residency program. Dr. Dahodwala wholeheartedly practices patient-centered, humanistic, and evidence-based complex primary care. He prioritizes empowering his patients to make sure they are educated in their health and active participants on their healthcare team.
Most importantly, Dr. Dahodwala believes that healthcare stretches beyond the four walls of an exam room. His philosophy is that to understand a patient, especially those with complex primary care needs, you must understand their entire story. With that foundation, he hopes to create long-term therapeutic relationships with every patient he has the privilege to serve.
