Dr. Jashdeep Dhoot is a board certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist. He grew up in the Bay Area before moving to southern California to pursue his medical training. He attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego and later completed his residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. While completing his cardiology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, he was named Chief Fellow. He then moved to Kansas City to pursue sub-specialty training in cardiac electrophysiology. He worked in Torrance and Long Beach prior to joining St Joseph and St Jude Heritage Medical Group.
Dr. Dhoot has published numerous scientific papers and abstracts. His primary clinical interests are the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, including medical therapy, catheter-based ablation procedures and cardiac device implantation. He believes successful treatment of cardiac disease requires open communication and collaboration between doctor and patient.
Outside of work, Dr. Dhoot enjoys cycling, rooting for Bay Area professional sports teams and spending time with his wife and three children.
