Dr. Gisele Kabbach is the newest addition to our Pulmonary department, bringing a wealth of expertise and dedication to her role. A fellowship-trained Pulmonary and Critical Care physician, Dr. Kabbach has a robust background in both clinical practice and academic training. She earned her medical degree from the University of Damascus, followed by a residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso. She then completed her fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care at LAC+USC Medical Center in sunny Southern California, a move that allowed her to be closer to family.
Dr. Kabbach is committed to offering comprehensive, evidence-driven, and compassionate care. She addresses a wide range of conditions such as asthma, COPD, lung cancer, pleural diseases, pulmonary hypertension, obstructive sleep apnea and chronic cough, with a particular interest in interstitial lung diseases and lung cancer screening. She is proficient in performing various procedures, including pulmonary function tests and fiberoptic bronchoscopy, to diagnose and manage a variety of pulmonary conditions.
Beyond her professional endeavors, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son, learning to play tennis, and practicing Pilates. Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Kabbach also possesses basic proficiency in Spanish.
