    Everyone was great. Did not feel rushed which I appreciate. Answered our questions easily.
    Was relieved and comfortable finding a doctor who knew very welll his field of expertise. Thank-you for that, especially in Humboldt County.
    Tests ordered within 3 months were pre-surgery EKG and chest x-ras -- while not discussed with ther physician, I understood the results were satisfactory because the surgery went ahead.
    Dr loya is thorough and pleasant and explained everything about my back and the surgery to help me. I was so happy with the outcome.the surgery really helped to diminish my pain. Dr loya and team did a great job.

    Biography
    Dr. Loya obtained his medical degree at the Stanford University School of Medicine. While in medical school, he pioneered a unique multidisciplinary program in medical education and studied at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital in South Africa, where his interest in pediatric neurosurgery was sparked. Dr. Loya completed residency at University of California, San Diego where he focused on skull base surgery. He went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Loya's clinical interests include minimally invasive cranial “keyhole” surgery, endoscopic and skull base surgery, and pediatric neurosurgery. Read More
