    Biography
    Dr. Phuong Ly is a board-certified Family Medicine doctor practicing for over 20 years. He completed medical school at the University of Arkansas College of Medicine before finishing his residency and internship at the UCLA Family Medicine program. Arkansas was Dr. Ly's home after immigrating from Vietnam. After his UCLA residency, he returned to Arkansas where he dedicated his early physician career to the underserved rural populations of the Arkansas Delta region. He has also worked as a Medical Director for the Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Jonesboro, AR and Laguna Hills, CA. Most recently, Dr. Ly served as the Medical Director for Gateway Medical Center in Anaheim, CA. Dr. Ly's areas of expertise and clinical interests include preventative care, treating minor sport injuries and fractures, minor outpatient procedures, and both acute and chronic illness. Dr. Ly's philosophy of care is treating every patient as if he/she is his own family member or friend to build strong patient-physician relationships. He believes in taking the time to listen to his patients to ensure that the patient's perspective is incorporated into his/her care.
