Kristina Meza, MMS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant, specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery, joining Dr. Michael McConnell in aesthetic and reconstructive treatment. Raised in Orange County, Kristina earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences from California State University Fullerton and her Master of Medical Science and PA certification from Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, CA.
Kristina's journey into medicine was profoundly shaped by her mother's courageous battle with breast cancer,
ultimately becoming a survivor. Inspired by the compassionate care her family received from her mother's surgical oncology team, Kristina dedicated herself to a career focused on healing and empathetic patient care. She values building strong, trusting relationships with her patients and their loved ones, understanding their unique goals and concerns, and providing individualized, patient-centered care. She loves creating a supportive environment where patients feel informed, comfortable, and empowered throughout their journey.
During her PA training, Kristina completed a clinical rotation in plastic and reconstructive surgery under Dr. McConnell's mentorship, solidifying her passion for the transformative impact of this specialty on patients' health and quality of life. Whether enhancing aesthetics or assisting in reconstructive procedures, Kristina is committed to helping patients achieve their desired outcomes and feel empowered throughout their medical journey.
Outside the operating room and clinic, Kristina enjoys traveling, exploring new music, attending concerts, snowboarding in Mammoth, and indulging in Formula 1 racing on weekends.
