    Excellent Dr. Listens and answers questions
    This was my third visit with a cardiologist this month. I finally found him! Yay! Dr. Miyamoto was absolutely amazing. He actually listens and explains. Game changer. Thank you!
    Dr Miyamoto is an excellent doctor he is patient, always listen and explain the problems at the time I visit him.
    Dr. Miyamoto is very understanding,respectful and compassionate. His demeanor is quite calming and is always pleasant to talk too. The office is great too. Very efficient and professional. Thank you to Dr. Miyamoto and the all of the staff.

    Biography

    Dr. Miyamoto is a board-certified cardiologist with over 25 years of practice experience. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Stanford University where he graduated with Distinction and Departmental Honors. He attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Following this, he was a clinical and research fellow in Cardiology, Heart Failure and Transplantation at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston.

    Dr. Miyamoto joined Mission Heritage Medical Group Cardiology in 1998 and has been involved in clinical practice, research and medical technology development. His major research interests focus on the fundamental aspects of cardiovascular disease, including imaging studies of ancient humans (mummies) as well as indigenous, pre-industrial populations.

    Dr. Miyamoto is very involved in developing technology applications for health care. He still strongly believes in the importance of the human side of the physician-patient relationship, though.
