Barbara received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of San Francisco in 1980 and her Nurse Practitioner Education and Master of Science degree in Nursing from Cal State University, Long Beach in 1986. Barbara has been working as a CPNP-PC since 1986 and joined St Jude Heritage Medical Group in February of 2000.

She sees children, well and sick, from the newborn period through young adulthood providing a full range of quality health care. Areas of interest include, breastfeeding, colic, discipline, school readiness, developmental concerns, bedwetting, school and mental health issues and all issues related to the pediatric population.
Barbara has been certified as a Lactation Educator, has a micro credential in Adolescent Health Care thru the Pediatric Nursing Board of Certification, and is certified as a Behavioral Mental Health NP.
Barbara thoroughly enjoys caring for children and their families hoping to provide the best care and office experience possible.
When not working, Barbara enjoys baking, hiking, reading, classical music, and theater, learning new things, spending time with family, friends and her dog.
