Tina Marie Ortiz is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides collaborative care services for Providence Medical Foundation at Mission Heritage Medical Group. She graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development. She then obtained her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization of LatinX Family Systems from Pacific Oaks College. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Humanistic Psychology with a specialization in Creativity Studies. With more than 15 years of experience, she has worked with many different age populations and in different outpatient settings treating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, loss and grief. Tina has developed many community projects and is strength based in her approach. She also uses creativity and mindfulness to help people develop skills that will help them face adversity and connect to their resiliency.
