    Always a good experience.
    Very helpful staff, very competent and experienced surgeon, Dr. Stapfer. No bad experiences whatsoever at St. Jude. Dr. Ford and her staff are also very helpful and show concern for my recent diagnosis.
    Dr. Stapfer is one of the most professional and polite surgeons that St. Jude has on their staff. She is very knowledgeable and is willing to stop and answer questions and give recommendations to her patients. I highly recommend her and will not hesitate to send family and friends to her for her specialty
    My experience with the office staff and Dr Stapfer was outstanding!
    All I can say is that everybody from staff and doctors are all good and easy to talk too and always take cares of the patient.

    Biography
    Dr. Stapfer attended the University of Hawaii on a 4 year full athletic scholarship where she played basketball for the university while obtaining her degree in biology. She subsequently completed her medical degree at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia where she obtained Alpha Omega Alpha status and graduated cum laude. She completed her general surgery training at USC followed by board certification by the American College of Surgeons in 2003. During her residency Dr. Stapfer managed to have two healthy children. She then completed a fellowship in hepatobiliary and pancreas surgery followed by an abdominal organ transplant fellowship at USC. Dr. Stapfer has extensive training in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery having completed 5 years of training in the field including an abdominal organ transplant fellowship for liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation.
