Dr. Santoro received his undergraduate degree at Villanova University, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor in Science with honors. He attended Medical School at the State University of New York Health and Science Center at Brooklyn. Dr. Santoro completed his internship and residency at Staten Island University Hospital. He received his GI Fellowship at Loma Linda University.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and specializes in Gastroenterology.
Dr. Santoro is a fellow with the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a fellow with American College of Gastroenterology (FACG). He has served as chief of Gastroenterology at Saddleback Memorial Hospital, San Clemente Campus. Dr. Santoro has been recognized as Physician of Excellence with Orange Coast Magazine, 2005.
Dr. Santoro was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He has lived in California since 1990 and been in practice for 15 years. He is married with three children.
