Dr. Therese Santos is a board-certified family medicine physician with St. Jude Heritage Medical Group in Yorba Linda, California. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology exercise science at CalState Long Beach and attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She completed her internship and residency at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, California. She is an advocate for promoting health and wellbeing, preventing diseases using evidence-based medicine, and providing care for acute and chronic medical conditions for the adolescent to elderly population. She values the osteopathic philosophy of treating each person as a whole - that the mind, body, and spirit are interconnected. As a result, she strives to work with each patient in an empathetic, informative, and individualized way to help them reach their optimum health and wellness. In addition, she enjoys performing office procedures, which include laceration repairs, incision and drainage, IUD or nexplanon removal and insertions, certain joint injections, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and also practices certain modalities of osteopathic manipulative medicine.
As a health and wellness advocate and certified personal trainer, she enjoys exercising, hiking, dancing, playing volleyball, and learning how to play new sports. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, cooking and baking healthier versions of her favorite food, trying new restaurants, traveling, and being involved and growing with her church community.
