Dr. Bob Young is an adult pulmonologist and intensivist with over 25 years of experience. After undergraduate education at Stanford University, he completed his MD and PhD training at Washington University in St. Louis. He did a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle and fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver.
Following training, he was a faculty member at National Jewish Health and the University of Colorado in Denver before a transition to full-time clinical practice with a large pulmonary practice in the Denver metropolitan area. More recently, he served as the director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City and then as a pulmonologist and intensivist with Bozeman Health in Bozeman, Montana.
He has particular interests in the early detection and diagnosis of lung cancer, interventional pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine.
